Schedule for actions @ UNC-Greensboro

Monday 10/22 - During the daytime we will set up a table promoting for the week and explaining who David Horror-Witz is and what IFAW is all about.
That evening we will be doing a teach-in called "Women in Islam" featuring Muslim women from the womens studies department.

Tuesday 10/23 - During the day we will be conducting street theatre rendition/torture scenes and check points.
That evening we will be having a teach-in on U.S. relations in the middle east. This will feature (hopefully) a speaker from Iraq Vets Against the War. Our confirmed speakers are all students from the school, one is a refugee from palestine.

Wednesday 10/24 - During the day is "DON'T ATTACK IRAN!!!" We will be having a demonstration and setting up informational tables.
That evening is a poetry reading from two revolutionary poets (we didn't put this together but are endorsing it) and a speak out poetry session open to anyone.

Thursday 10/25 - During the day is our "Anti-War Fair" We will invite any student/political groups who are against the war/direction our country is moving in to set up tables and demonstrate. We will are also inviting the MSA to set up tables and have a cultural event, possibly serve food or dance etc.
That evening we will feature whatever speaker you find for us, it will be a teach-in on the importance of dissent in academia and the fight against american fascism etc.

Friday 10/26 - During the daytime we will have a speak out featuring the radical drum-core Cakalak Thunder. Depending on the political climate we may do other things but the speak-out is our planned action.
Friday evening no events are scheduled.

We are making a flyer to distribute today so hopefully someone will get back to you about speaking. If not we can start distribution and change the flyer later. Next week the first two days are fall break so there won't be any students on campus, which doesn't leave us with much time for promotion. That's why we are going start flyering today.
