Questions handed out Wed at Columbia

1) Do you agree with I.F.A.W. speaker Rick Santorum that abortion and birth control should be outlawed and girls should not receive the HPV vaccination?

2) Are you speaking out equally against Islamic restrictions on women in Saudi Arabia, or just in those countries the Bush administration wants to or is occupying?

3) I.F.A.W. condemns 'Islamic totalitarianism.' Why don't you condemn torture and indefinite detention without charges by the U.S.?

4) When I.F.A.W. speaker Ann Coulter says Jews can be “perfected” by becoming Christians, is that anti-Semitism? Or is criticism of Israel the only thing you consider anti-Semitism?

5) How do you claim that Bush's 'war on terror' includes liberating women when the burka is still enforced on the vast majority of women in occupied Afghanistan?

6) You rightly condemn the horrors of Sharia law being used to restrict and oppress women. Do you condemn the new Iraqi constitution that Bush and the media glorify as bringing democracy to Iraq when Article 14 guarantees equal rights for women so long as those rights don't violate Sharia?
