Other Material
The newspaper at Emory College has an article about IFAW, which includes a visit from David Horowitz.
A blog in England, Chimes of Freedom, calls on people to campaign against the IFAW-related events in Europe.
Daily Kos and others have noted that the original image for IFAW, supposedly of an Iranian teenager being buried in preparation for a stoning, is actually a still from a Dutch movie. While such stonings have actually taken place in areas under Islamic fundamentalist control, the use of the image demonstrates the willingness of Horowitz to lie and distort. Horowitz continued to insist that the picture was genuine (in a blog posting which has since been deleted but is archived here) until it was impossible to do so. Now, he says it doesn't matter if the picture was a fake.
